Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 ProActive Test（前瞻性病毒测试报告）

Kaspersky Lab recently released a new product version 7 of their Anti-Virus and Internet Security products. This new version includes a heuristic analyzer (emulator), which should help in detecting new/unknown threats. We tested Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0.0.119 with last signature updates of the 2nd February 2007 and with highest settings (heuristic set to detail/maximum) under Windows XP, to see how well this new heuristic of Kaspersky works.

卡巴斯基实验室最近推出了全新的 7 系列产品（KAV7 & KIS7），新版本中采用了基于仿真分析的启发技术，这让卡巴7可以更有效的侦查新病毒、未知病毒。测试平台是Windows XP，接受我们测试的 KAV 7.0.0.119 的病毒库更正至 2007年2月2号，并且设置为最佳保护模式的效果（最高启发），通过这方法来测试 KAV7 对新病毒和未知病毒的启发效果。

The used test-set for this retrospective test is from the 2nd May 2007 and the results are comparable with those from he retrospective test of May 2007.

KAV7测试设置跟5月份 av-comparatives 前瞻性病毒测试一样（测试所用样本均采集于‘2007年2月2号——2007年5月2号’这段时间），因此我们可以拿这个测试的结果跟5月份的测试报告一起比较分析。

2. Test results 测试结果

Below the on-demand proactive detection rates of KAV 7.0 (same results apply also to Kaspersky Internet Security v7).

With a total detection rate of 35% in the retrospective test and a very low rate of false alarms (the same one false alarm like in version 6), Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7 would in our tests have reached the ADVANCED certification level (PROACTIVE DETECTION AWARD).

在这个前瞻性病毒测试中，KAV 7.0 的侦查率为 35%（KAV6 仅为 9%），并且非常少的误报（跟KAV6一样，在测试中仅有1个误报）在这次的5月份等级划分排名中，KAV 7 可以获得 ADVANCED（第二等级）

Kaspersky includes since version 6 an aditional layer of protection, called Proactive Defense Module (PDM) which is able to protect the system against unknown malware during its execution, based on its behavior. In a test we conducted (using random selected samples) we found this proactive protection to work very well (but needs user intervention) and to deserve our “PROACTIVE PROTECTION AWARD”.

卡巴斯基自从6系列发布以来，一直采用主动防御组件（Proactive Defense Module），该技术可以有效的根据行为来判断和阻止未知恶意程序的运行。我们也随机选择了一些样本病毒对卡巴的主动防御进行简单测试，结果我们发现，主动防御表现得非常出色（但需要用户进行干预），而且应该得到我们的“主动防御奖”。
